Combat Equipment for Commercial and Home Gyms

Combat-inspired training delivers a full body, high-energy workout that suits members of every ability. Hitting bags and pads builds cardiovascular fitness, coordination, power and confidence, and it’s a brilliant stress reliever too. For gym owners and studio managers, a dedicated combat area is a strong draw, whether it supports boxing classes, fitness-boxing circuits, personal training or open-floor bag work.

The equipment takes a lot of punishment. Bags are struck, swung and kicked all day, while gloves and pads are worn, shared and thrown around between sessions. In a busy facility, durability, hygiene and comfort matter far more than they do for a one-off home purchase, and a well-chosen range keeps replacement costs down and members happy.

At UK Gym Equipment, we supply commercial-grade equipment from leading brands, including our own Future range, to suit a variety of budgets and spaces. Whether you’re building a new boxing zone, topping up kit for classes or creating a home gym, you’ll find options to suit your needs.

What’s in Our Combat Equipment Range

Boxing bags: Heavy bags, free-standing bags and other bag types for power, conditioning and technique work, from wall-mounted to portable options.

Boxing gloves: Padded gloves for bag work, pad work and fitness classes, available in different sizes and weights to suit different users.

Pads: Focus pads, hook and jab pads and thicker training pads, held by a coach or partner to drill combinations, accuracy and power.

Choosing the Right Combat Equipment

Think about who will use the kit and how. For bags, consider the weight and size, the filling and the way the bag is mounted. Hanging bags need a strong ceiling or wall fixing, while free-standing bags need floor space and a stable base. Check the covering material, since durable synthetic leather or vinyl is easier to clean and suits shared use. For gloves, size and weight matter most. The right fit supports the hand and wrist without restricting movement, with lighter gloves suiting bag work and classes and heavier gloves usually preferred for sparring. For pads, look at the shape, thickness and grip, as comfortable handles and good padding protect the holder during long sessions. For classes, plan how you’ll store and air kit between sessions, and consider having a range of sizes available.

Complete Your Combat Training Area

Combat kit works best alongside the right floor and conditioning equipment. Browse our boxing gloves and pads, rubber gym flooring and gym and yoga mats to build a complete area, and our kettlebells, HIIT cardio, HIIT air bikes and indoor rowers to add conditioning options. As a specialist commercial fitness equipment supplier, we can also help with gym design and layout, delivery and finance, so you can equip your whole facility with one supplier.
