Our selection of Olympic bars are designed with the capacity to carry significant amounts of weight - they're a perfect addition to any weight lifting gym. Olympic bars are far more durable than regular bars, being made for high performing lifters; however, this doesn't mean that beginners can't also use them. 

Besides the obvious difference in weight support type the only other real difference between an Olympic bar and a standard bar is that they typically have less flex during use, making them far safer to use if you are attempting heavier lifts.
